This piece was created for an art competition, VASE. The mediums I used to make this piece were Prismacolor pencils, Alcohol Markers, and Graphite Pencils. The meaning behind my piece communicates that my dad protects me from scary situations, mentally and physically. The background represents terrible situations and my thoughts. To me, my dad is my shield protecting me from everything.
